I bring 20 years operational experience in a range of manufacturing companies, 10 years working closely with 100s of businesses, management teams and leaders through the Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service. Now heading up Scottish Enterprises High Value Manufacturing team focused on identifying and developing strategic transformational opportunities for Manufacturing in Scotland and Internationally. I bring energy and an action focused approach to teams, an expert facilitator bringing people and ideas together and establishing synergy to build and develop plans. As a Manufacturing Engineer with a six sigma Lean background I also apply a healthy level of scientific thinking to problem solving. Through my coaching experience and people and team focus I can also see the human side of challenges and opportunities. I have a passion to see people grow, develop their ideas, plans and goals to achieve transformational outcomes. I have a keen sense of adventure and as an endurance cyclist, I have planned and led several self supported bike tours around remote corners of our wild and beautiful planet from the Scottish Highlands to the Sahara Desert.
