Business Support and Training:o Provide tailored business support and training services to fisher groups, focusing on enhancing their entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, and overall business acumen.o Design and implement capacity-building programs to improve the efficiency and sustainability of small-scale enterprises in the fisheries sector.2. Enterprise Development:o Collaborate with fisher groups to identify opportunities for enterprise development and income diversification within the fisheries value chain.o Assist in the establishment and strengthening of small businesses, fostering economic empowerment and resilience.3. Financial Management:o Offer guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and record-keeping for fisher groups to enhance their financial management capabilities.o Facilitate access to financial resources and support the development of business plans for sustainable growth.4. Market Access:o Work closely with fisher groups to identify market opportunities and develop strategies for accessing local and regional markets.o Provide support in the development of marketing and branding initiatives for fishery products.5. Monitoring and Evaluation:o Implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact of enterprise development interventions.o Regularly review and analyze data to track progress, identify challenges, and recommend adjustments to strategies

• Review the agronomic aspects of Liberia’s agriculture sector and priorities needs to inform further action. • Identify basic agronomy skill and capacity needs amongst local cassava farmers and agricultural extension officers and provide recommendations as to how these needs can be suitably met.• Inform and train cassava farmers and agricultural extension officers in good agronomic practices through implementing, monitoring, and reporting on a series of best-practice agronomy field demonstrations with participating farmers and extension officers. • Work with national stakeholders and other partners to contribute to strategic policy and development plans for the agriculture sector.• Contribute to the designing and development of new grant and project proposal• Support research and study activities on agronomic topics that will benefit cassava value chain actors. • Prepare and implement workshops and seminars on subjects aimed at improving agronomy field activities and the provision of agronomy services through knowledge transfer. EUROPEAN UNION • Develop technical and practical materials for farmers, extension officers, and other value chain actors to use including guidelines, leaflets technical notes, and manuals in the areas of agronomy trials management; cassava production and protection via advice on crop rotation, soil cultivation and cuttings planting, weed management, fertilizer application, production of on-farm organic matter and compost systems, irrigation, soil testing, soil and nutrient management, and cultivation practices to improve soil productivity, conservation, and crop harvesting. • Facilitate the development of agronomy capacity by supporting continuous professional development for agricultural extension officers and contributing to succession plans within the department of agriculture. • Be responsible for strong lines of communication regarding agronomic issues between the sector ministry, farmers and other value chain actors

▪ I was primarily tasked with the responsibility of teaching a maximum of twelve-credit hours every semester, conduct research, counsel, and advise students. ▪ Developed and implement instructional plans per semester, develop excellent course syllabus; conduct a reliable and timely evaluation of student, advocate and promote the University mission and visions▪ Plan and implement field trips for every course to enable practical learning

• In addition to my responsibility as County Agriculture Coordinator for Maryland County, I was also task with the responsibility of coordinating agriculture field activities at the regional-level for Maryland, River Gee and Grand Kru counties. Provide supervision for all government and donor project being implemented in the three counties.

▪ As County Agriculture Coordinator, my primary responsibility was to provide leadership, supervise and coordinate all agriculture-related activities at the county level. I also coordinated and facilitated the work of over 15 extension officers in Maryland through timely information sharing and logistical support.▪ In collaboration with the Programme Management Unit (PMU) coordinate, implement, monitor, evaluate, and report on every agriculture project being implemented at the county level in keeping with desired goals and timelines. ▪ Liaise with relevant donators, and NGOs to ensure the planning and implementation of a proposed project in keeping project documents at the county level. ▪ I Provided County-wide agricultural development leadership to all extension program initiatives involved in the overall sector of agriculture development in the country in the context of poverty reduction and measuring progress on achieving the MDGs. Lastly, I provided timely extension service delivery to farmers carrying out tree crop production, food crop, and livestock production. ▪ Attend national and local meetings, workshops, and seminars geared to capacity building, and finding solutions to issues surrounding agriculture development at local and national levels.
