I have been in telecom since 1988 starting as a Paralegal and eventually working in Networking roles since 2005. I worked for Bellsouth for 17 years until the company was brough out by ATT.Since that time my roles have followed the ebbs and flow of telecom as I have worked as a long term contracting specialist that has assisted me in gaining a lot of experiences in various NOC roles. As you will see from the enclosed resume I have contracted for some of the most sought-after Telecom Companies in the world that exist or have existed. Although I have had some permanent roles, the trend of mergers have forced me to take severance packages and has put me back into long term contracting.Most of the contracts I have done have ranged from 3 months all the way to 3 years. Unfortunately, after long term contracts have ended the companies that I have worked have not had permanent positions within their organizations which has placed me back into the job markets every few years like I am now.My longevity at BellSouth only demonstrates that I am a stable person not someone that changes jobs every few years; again this is only because of the way Telecom has changed over the last 15-20 years i.e. The DOT com bust in 1998 and ATT into the long distance arena in 2002.Although I have many years in the business you can see from the enclosed resume that I have the skills necessary to fill any position within a NOC Environment within your organization. I am not only adaptable and flexible but I know how to lead, follow and get out the way.
