Serve as consultant, trusted advisor and point person for the self-funded health plan for Sutter Health East Bay and Peninsula Coastal regions. Develop and deploy health plan strategy to meet client’s operating goals and objectives. Manage the preparation of statistical analysis by trending past and forecasting future claims experience for clients. Identify appropriate benchmarks and metrics to profile key aspects of medical cost, utilization, and quality performance. Identify current healthcare trends and strategies and its’ application to self-funded health plans. Ensure consistency, quality and effectiveness of the health plan delivered to clients. Manage the health plans, ensuring correct claims processing and consistency, including claim audits, denials and appeals.
