This role involved a large amount of cross department communication to ensure that the delivered product was in line with customer expectations. This included scheduling meetings with the appropriate stakeholders to gain clarity and direction for the specific business cases of each ticket, as well as providing opportunities to train said stakeholders on the intricacies of the finalized features. During this time I became a subject matter expert in EDI transaction sets and file transmission, specifically focusing on developing a 3rd party electronic billing solution for a new product. More specifically, my major project was to develop a C# .Net application that generated and validated EDI 835 files for transmission to EMEDNY. The application could be used by customers via the web platform itself, or interacted with via secure API by automated solutions.
