Hello, my name is Jerome Yu. I am currently a premed student at UCF. I am originally from Queens, New York, but I have been living in Florida since 2021. I am now studying biomedical sciences at the University of Central Florida as an undergraduate student, pursuing a bachelors of science. My goal is to attend medical school in the near future and eventually become a medical practitioner afterwards. To prepare for these career goals, I am currently developing my patient care skills and learning about the innerworkings of a hospital system by volunteering at Advent Health East Orlando. I am looking for opportunities where I can learn more about medicine, physicians, and healthcare in general. I am very passionate about the medical field and am determined to work hard, learn as much as possible, and enrich myself through every learning experience.
