About Jerome Builles
I am involved in the process of making applications from the initial design phase to the deployment of said application on the platforms. I am passionate, self-driven and motivated and I am always looking for new, but most importantly, better solutions to problems. For the past six years I have been more involved in programming and managing than any other aspect of software development working on Unity3D, creating applications on HTC Vive, HoloLens, Mobile (IOS and Android) and on desktop. Additionally, I am also a competent 3D artist with 6 years experience and extremely pedantic when it comes to it; as many will confirm, I am what we tend to refer as a technical artist.Furthermore I have trained colleagues, future colleagues and learners around the world and I take great pride in sharing my experience, passions and knowledge with my peers as much as seeing them progress in the fields I was involved in. I tend to emphasis that there only so much that can be taught in the time given and chose to provide a general direction, best practices and attempt to nurture their passions. After that I simply oversee and advise as they progress.I have also always made a point in creating tools simple enough to allow designers to create an application unconstrained by the fact of not being programmers. I am versed in making shaders, voice commands and hands gestures to the implementation of ECS, scriptable object driven events, path finding solutions and re-skinable applications. As for my personality, I like to believe I am described as cheerful, helpful and generally easy be around. So far I lived a happy life and very much intend to continue doing so.
