Environmentally friendly processes attract continuously growing interest for applications in catalysis. The main aim of my PhD work in the Prof. Suss-Fink group (Neuchâtel, Switzerland) was to develop efficient catalyst in aqueous solution, especially for asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones and imines to give an environmentally friendly access to alkaloids via asymmetric catalysis in water. In this “green chemistry” concept, I was interested in the extension my work to other catalytic reactions like carbon-carbon coupling or to self-assembled materials. That is the reason why I joint as JSPS postdoctoral fellow the Noyori Laboratory (Nagoya, Japan) in November 2007 to developp C-C coupling catalyzed by cheap nickel complex under mild conditions.Then, I joint the IRCELYON to work on Metal Organic Frameworks in order to developp their catalytic potential. I am especially interested in the confinement of organometallic catalysts.Specialties: - "multi-steps" organic and organometallic synthesis using Schlenk techniques- homo- and heterogeneous catalysis applied to organic sythesis (asymmetric)- reactions under gas pressure in stainless-steel autoclave- purification and standard characterization methods - solution/refinement of X-rays structures with SHELX and utilization of Ortep, Pov-Ray and Mercury programs- analytical techniques for characterization of nano-materials such as SEM, EDX and XRD
