    As the Brockhaus Chair of Entrepreneurship I work to support the development of entrepreneurial firms in the Saint Louis University community and the larger St. Louis area through training, consulting, publications and traditional academic programs. I also serve as the head of the Chaifetz School's nationally-ranked Entrepreneurship Program. I have been at Saint Louis University since 1987, holding positions as an assistant, associate and full professor before receiving the Mary Louise Murray Endowed Professorship in 1998 and the Coleman Chair in Entrepreneurship in September 2005, the Distinguished Professorship in Entrepreneurship in September 2016 and the Brockhaus Chair in March 2019 .
