About Jérôme Parmentier

As Vice President, Media Rights & Content Partnerships for the International Olympic Committee, I am responsible for all commercial agreements involving media assets. When distributing any form of moving images of the Olympic Games, we are looking to fulfill our Olympic Charter principle “reaching the widest possible audience” and to generate long-term revenue for the Olympic Movement. In a fast-evolving media landscape that sees the audience spreading over more platforms at a very fast pace, it is crucial for the relevance and sustainability of our event to implement a broadcast platform that is reaching as many people as possible around the globe.When doing so, my team and I are fortunate enough to work for a value-based organization fully dedicated to the success of the Olympic Games.
