About Jerome Reip
I started my career traditionally with an audit experience at PwC, working for the firm on 3 continents (Europe, America and Africa). This led me to grow quickly in terms of my pure technical financial skills, while improving my natural leadership skills. I strongly believe that sustainable relationships are key to success, and as such I promote actively transparency, honesty and humility as key values within my teams. After my audit experience, I had the chance to very quickly be promoted as a Group CFO in a local logistics group (Afritalia Trading), that expended regionally, more focused on the operational side of the finance function (accounting, reporting, controlling) and its efficiency (economies of scale, centralization). Then I moved to the next step to a large multinational across the Southern African Region (Alistair Group), moving from a Technical Role to a Strategical Role, being involved in Funding (equity raise, debt structuration), Growth (group restructuring, M&A, JVs, commercial activities, strategic internal changes, vertical integration) and Digitalization (automation, controls, efficiency).Lastly, I have joined a global player (Fracht Group), with a full top level focus on business development, strategical finance solutions and deal structuration (including M&A), dealing not only with my region as CFO Africa but as well with the head offices in Belgium and Switzerland.In addition, I have founded J&C Holding, a group focusing on sustainable investments (classical but also alternative) in order to promote Christian Values through investment, but also providing strategical consulting to diverse actors (personal, SMEs and Corporates).
