Broome Urology At Lourdes

Managing a busy specialty practice made up of six surgeons and two APP providers. Our focus is on treating multiple levels of urological care for our patient population, and optimizing their outcomes.

I manage 10+ providers over multiple sites within the Lourdes Primary Care Network. My focus has surrounded achieving and maintaining high standards of patient care, budget achievement, and healthcare compliance within the industry. I emphasize transformational leadership within my sites and nurture learning and participation, as a means of meeting the goals and mission of the Ascension Health Ministry.

Mentor high school students in different aspects of career training. One on one counseling in regards to life skills, education and career development. Also coach students in basketball, which allows me to utilize the team approach in teaching the importance of managing responsibilities and accountability.

Hands on patient care from admission to discharge. Worked as part of the treatment team by coordinating individual needs for patients which were identified in treatment plans along with the clinical team of doctors, nurses, social workers, and rehabilitation staff. Key player in the writing, development, and implementation of individual treatment plans for patients dealing with Mental Health and Substance Abuse issues. Lead didactic groups focused on teaching improved life skills. Recipient of the Leadership Award for outstanding patient satisfaction and care.
