Purpose: Responsible for managing the day to day PeopleSoft Process and Transfer job scheduling activities. Coordinate activities with multiple IT teams and Universities to develop, maintain, support, and enhance batch job scheduling across the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, HR and Finance applications.Essential Functions: Participates in the planning, implementation and review processes for new and existing production batch jobs. Places new jobs into the scheduling systems including the following information: job name, parameter information, scheduling occurrences, report names, and report distribution. Responsible for the scheduling/processing of production batch, end resolution, escalation, recovery of on-line and batch files; record, assign and documenting all production batch deficiencies into the on-line information systems. Insures that batch production scheduling and report distribution are accurate and timely. Implement packaged applications, monitor critical logs and systems. Assess the impact of PeopleSoft updates and provide proposals for applying them effectively. Work directly with users and IT Members to troubleshoot and support incidents regarding failed jobs and systems issues. Track all work with through the centralized ticket tracking system. Identify the cause, design or develop an approach for resolution. Upon approval, implement the correction. Assist users in completing User Acceptance.
