It Operations Supervisor
Current• Manage the IT Team to ensure system uptime, resolve incidents, prioritize responsibilities, achieve SLA’s, achieve KPI’s and achieve metrics.• Configure, install, upgrade, and perform scheduled maintenance to server-side hardware and software. Create and manage user accounts, groups, and Active Directory policies when necessary.• Monitor systems to ensure optimal performance and perform necessary maintenance and corrective action; seek out process improvements.• Implement procedures related to network hardware and software, including acquisition, use, support, security, disaster recovery, and backup; document and communicate procedures, develop training material/troubleshooting guidelines, and train users on server-side resources.• Participate in the development of new company policies and communicate current policies related to company-owned hardware and software.• Maintain server-side hardware and software lifecycle, providing suggestions at time of budget.• Design and maintain cloud-based platforms, including but not limited to Azure and AWS.• Work within company standards for disaster recover as well as basic backup and recovery.• Design and manage projects using Microsoft Project• Lead in the analysis and selection of new technology • Travel to both domestic and international facilities to perform all duties listed above.• Participate in the analysis and selection of new technology required for expanding computing needs throughout the organization. Work with competing vendors to determine the best selection based on price, technical functionality, durability, manufacturer support and manufacturer.• Ability to work with vendors, consultants, or contractors to make cost-effective purchases, while maintaining the IT budget.• Submit and manage team budgets, measuring actual vs. budget spend.
