I have spent the majority of my life in the special events industry amounting to over 2 decades of experience. I have always had a creative spirit that has driven me throughout my life. This spirit has led me to a passion for creating special moments. These moments touch us emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Lighting has the power to transform these moments into experiences. As a lighting designer, I am always looking to use light, color, darkness, texture, and movement as mediums to help tell the story of a presentation. I started telling these stories as a DJ back in the mid-90s at parties and special events. I learned a lot back then, but I knew I needed to learn more. Valencia College’s Theatre department taught me so much and gave me a great base to officially begin my career. The work I did there to earn my A.S. in Live Entertainment Design & Production helped me throughout my career. The A.S. degree in Business Administration I will receive this fall, will help me further my career and I am looking forward to the stories that it will help me tell in the future
