I am a 35-year technology executive with a career that has spanned software development, software and system architecture, technical management, product management, sales, and sales management. I am also a co-founder.Teaching and coaching have always been a part of who I am - whether co-workers, customers, or prospects - and it has become such a large part of me that I decided to pursue it full-time...without regret!I believe in: - encouraging students to think - encouraging students to explore problems in new ways - allowing students to collaborate and work in small teams - blending mindfulness into the practice of mathematics - fostering a positive attitude about learning that will create life-long learners - celebrating mistakes as opportunities, not failures - modeling adaptability, kindness, empathy and perseverancebut most of all, I believe in my students and strive every day to ensure they feel that.Currently, I have the privilege of teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, and 8th Grade Math to some of the greatest kids anyone could ask to know.I hold a California CTE Provisional Credential in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and FAB (Business and Finance). I am pursuing a California Single-Subject Mathematics Credential with a Master of Education, with emphasis in Innovative Teaching Practices.

I strive every day to ensure they feel supported, valued, and believed in.
