Snowbird Cherokees Traditions Corporation is a non-profit organization that provides families with a Summer Cherokee Language Camp. During my two summers at this organization, I was given the opportunity to help teach Cherokee to a classroom of children ages 4-8 alongside a native speaker. During these nine weeks I also assisted with traditional arts and crafts, lesson planning, and managing ~ 50 youth on field trips.
