Manage day to day operations of large Pulmonary medicine practice with 17 providers and 26 staff. Follow up on patient concerns when necessary. Prioritize staffing needs for the practice. Discuss metrics with providers at monthly provider meetings and share industry information as related to the practice for each provider. Handle all supplies orders for day to day operations. Review and discuss scheduling needs of the provider and practice to ensure efficiency of clinic hours. Work with other departments with in the company to maximize provider availability and patient visits. Ensure patients have the best experience possible at all of our offices. responsible for working with medical offices in up to seven locations on their billing questions and concerns and responding to patient request and concerns in regard to billing. Managing a team of six verification representatives and patient financial service representatives to obtain current benefits for upcoming pt appointments and respond to patient inquiries to billing concerns from the patients and the practices. Monthly patient eligibility reviews for current patients on services, payer calls to ensure revenue at risk is minimized, oversee staff of 10 employees responsible for benefits & eligibility as well as authorization of service request, reauthorization requests are submitted timely to ensure no denials for current patients on service. Discuss payer issues with staff and other management to resolve revenue risk issues
