• Updates Kansas Medicaid Policy as needed due to changes in Federal and State regulations, by written and oral communication.• Communicates direction and feedback for new system changes with the State and system developers.• Collaborates with effectively with operations, training and quality in regard to policy clarifications to increase • Effectively and clearly writes new policy memos, clarifications and directives for publication.• Point of contact for developing Medicaid Expansion policy’s for Kansas.• Participates in monthly multi-state Medicaid calls to ensure Federal policy is implemented correctly.• Analyze data to determine if additional policy direction is needed for trending quality errors.• Conducts weekly and monthly policy meetings with KDHE and contractor management to ensure policies are rolled out efficiently. • Attend Kansas State Legislative discussions to provide Medicaid Family Medical subject matter expertise.
