I taught mathematics to college students.

Taught part time orchestra class for middle school and high school students.

I worked as part of a two engineer team doing HAZOP analysis for various companies. I worked mostly as the technical recorder on the clients job site and I then put reports together that summarized findings and recommendations.

I worked as a process engineer for a multi layer ceramic capacitor manufacturer. I helped them start up their new plant and then I helped them optimize it. Some of the projects I completed were the installation of inline Brookfield viscometers which continuously measured viscosity of the dielectric. It also added solvent to keep the paint within specification. I conceived and carried out a solvent recovery and reuse program as well by installing a turn key evaporator unit that could process all the solvent waste streams in batches. The great part was that the heating drum was lined with a plastic bag that stood up to the heat of the unit. After the batch was completed, the bag was removed and could be reused for another later batch of the same composition. I also developed a quick way to prepare run plates that saved time and money using wax paper.

I helped them start up their new sintered bauxite plant. I wrote the start and standard operating procedures for all the equipment, trained operators, worked shifts at times, and optimized the ball mill and gas fired rotary dryer.

I worked as the Technical Services Engineer for the solvent recovery section of this pharmaceutical plant.

Worked for an R&D engineer for the summer as a summer technician. Ran a project on foaming characteristics of toothpaste.

I did various temporary jobs at the technical center. My main assignment was to run a lab procedure for an R&D engineer who was investigating flavor stability in toothpaste. I also filled in for QC technicians in the toothpaste pilot plant.
