Hello everyone!I'm Jerrid Knight, a dedicated logistics professional with 8 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry. My journey began in the Air Force in August 2015, where I honed my skills in driving tractor-trailer combinations and eventually became a trainer. I instructed new students on American Association of Motor Vehicle Administration (AAMVA) standards and ensured Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance for over two years.I had the privilege of leading a driver pool of over 30 personnel at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of the Dispatch Support section. During my time in the Air Force, I earned two Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) degrees in transportation and electrical & mechanical engineering.Currently, I am pursuing my master's degree in business administration through the University of Arizona Global Campus and I continue to grow in my role as a Dedicated Account Manager at Nussbaum Transportation. Over the past three years, it has been a fantastic experience working with talented professionals in the industry.I am passionate about driving operational excellence and efficiency in logistics, including supply chain optimization, inventory control, and freight management. My expertise in logistics management, transportation coordination, and warehouse operations allows me to deliver cost-effective solutions and ensure on-time deliveries.
