Jerri Hobdy is an award-winning Furniture and Lighting Designer based in Denver, born and raised in Houston, Texas. Jerri began her career designing for Currey and Company and later Wisteria, working closely with the Veranda Magazine Founder. In 2015 Jerri joined the Anthropologie Home team in-house to grow the global lifestyle retailer’s new furniture business. Within two years, Hobdy had launched scores of best-sellers for Anthropologie. Since departing and starting her own design business in 2017, she has developed unique furnishings for renowned brands including Arteriors, Four Hands, Lulu & Georgia, Restoration Hardware, and hospitality titans ICON and ASH NYC, among many. Today, Jerri continues to collaborate with a roster of the industry’s top retailers, hospitality partners and factories globally by continuing to provide unique designs through a full-service approach. In 2021 her dining chairs graced the Oscar’s in scores as the primary seating for Hollywood’s elite. With an ever expanding pursuit of more sustainable practices and over a decade of research within furnishings, Jerri launched her private label MENO at the end of 2021. With an unparalleled design-led approach to sustainability, the first MENO store front opened in May of 2022 to provide highly curated vintage furnishings, an in-house line of carbon and climate friendly furnishings and Jerri’s circular lifecycle Clean Candles, featured in Forbes. As Jerri focuses the spotlight on the furniture industry’s intersection with climate issues, MENO aspires to close the gap between innovation and the furniture marketplace.
