I joined Idealake as a Database administrator and was located in Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and Administered the Bombay stock Exchange Websites which included www.bseindia.com, www.hindi.bseindia.com and gujarati.bseindia.com and also some intranet sites. keeping the site updated with almost realtime data using SQL Server replication was our teams main activity. Apart from that my responsibilities also included creating jobs for the websites, writing TSQL code for the developers to be used in the applications or web pages, performance tuning the troublesome queries and general tuning the database servers, creating maintenance plans and other SQL Server administrative tasks
