Project Beacon was a joint venture by F-Prime Capital, GV, and the Broad Institute, aimed to make COVID testing accessible in Massachusetts. We teamed up with state agencies, completing over 1.5 million tests over 2.5 years.As the third full time hire, I was originally brought on as a site manager, and quickly progressed to plan, launch, and scale operations for six high-volume testing sites in just three months, completing over half a million+ tests in eight months. I managed a team of on-site supervisors, creating the playbook for our staff and clinical partners to follow. From inventory and volume forecasting to budgeting, vendor, and stakeholder management, I oversaw all aspects of our public sites operations. Once sites were up and running, I took on program managing our private employer programs.
