I'm Jerrod Walker - a visionary, strategic leader with more than 15 years of experience in DEIB, talent management, change management, and human learning design. I'm known for my commitment to people and belonging while driving impactful organizational transformation through innovation, systems-building, relationships. My track record includes successfully leading a comprehensive overhaul of multiple HR systems for a mid-size enterprise of over 1500 staff members. My purpose revolves around discovering possibilities that liberate hearts, minds, and people. In everything I do, I seek to make things better than I found them, and my legacy will always be found in the progress and success of the organizations, people, and entities I have touched. I'm a collaborative leader with a future-focused mindset, adept at forging connections and delivering strategic outcomes. I'm probably best known for my unique ability to develop strategies and processes that prioritize both people and impact on goals. My professional journey began as an administrative assistant at a law firm, before moving into student services support at the university level and then into education. I was a secondary English teacher, and that experience has been foundational in shaping my approach to everything I've done afterward. I firmly believe that every single person is born with unlimited potential, and the right conditions will unleash that potential. Beyond the classroom, I've developed individualized community-based programs, organized and executed professional learning experiences (virtually, in-person, small-scale, and large-scale), and led and supported organizational transformations of HR systems/processes and team structures. For nearly two decades, I've been helping leaders up to and including the C-Suite level arrive at critical decisions that shape the direction they ultimately take. Today, I am committed to fostering equity and inclusion, aligning business strategy with inclusive talent management, and empowering individuals towards the impact they most want to have.Let's connect and explore potential opportunities to collaborate, share insights, or simply engage in meaningful conversations.
