DRPA/PATCO Shop Annex Building Design & Construction Monitoring Services, Lindenwold, NJ- Electrical design leader responsible for producing a conceptual design for the proposed, future PATCO Shop Annex Building, in Lindenwold Yard. The design consisted of providing a service feeder from PATCO's substation to power building loads. Additionally, a 700 Vdc Stinger System to power cars that enter or exit the vehicle restoration building was developed.Amtrak Richmond SFC Relay Replacement, Port Richmond, PA- Served as project design leader responsible for replacing the existing ABB Circuit Shield, Type 51Y, Very Inverse Time‐Overcurrent relay with a Basler BE1‐951 relay to reduce unwanted nuisance equipment trippings on the six 138 kV transmission lines at Richmond SFC, tied together in a “breaker‐and‐a‐half” scheme. Coordination with the existing current transformer, short circuit availability and all other influencing parameters was performed.SEPTA Norristown Substation, Norristown, PA- Performed calculations, design review and construction‐related services as a liaison between SEPTA and the project electrical contractor. Provided design solutions that were both cost effective and met the needs of the customer.Amtrak Lamokin Substation Recabling, Chester, PA- Responsible for the design and installation of a prefabricated cable channel system, replacement of power cables, equipment control cables, and instrument cabling used on current and potential transformers now in service, associated with transformer replacement program. Coordinated activities between PECO and Amtrak, including construction‐related services.Amtrak Addition of Fourth Traction Power Transformer at Metuchen Substation, Metuchen, NJ- Designed the addition of a fourth 138‐12 kV, 25 Hz transformer at Amtrak’s Metuchen Substation. Design included 138 and 12 kV equipment additions and integration with the original substation protection and control systems dating to the 1930’s.

Atlanta Hartsfield Airport CONRAC Automated People Mover (APM) System Design, Atlanta, GA- Responsible for assisting with traction power, communications, SCADA system design and design coordination for an APM system extension. The CONRAC APM system, being constructed under a design-build contract, included two 750 Vdc double‐ended traction power substations, an auxiliary power substation, and a 19.8 kV power distribution network.New Haven Rail Maintenance Facility Yard Expansion, New Haven, CT- Responsible for assisting with the conceptual development and preliminary designs for ac traction power and overhead contact systems, and designed substation ground system for this major yard expansion project.Pittsburgh North Shore Connector Substation Design, Pittsburgh, PA- Responsible for coordinating activities between multiple agencies attempting to design a new North Shore Substation for the expansion of the Port Authority of Allegheny County LRT. Assisted with the development of project drawings and specifications to support the design criteria.Caltrain Electrification On‐Call Systems Engineering, California- Assisted with the preliminary engineering of the 2x25‐kV traction power system being proposed for the electrification of the existing Caltrains commuter rail system on the San Francisco Peninsula. Coordinated the development of project drawings and specifications to support the design criteria, most specifically the SCADA system.
