Mr. Jerome D. Allison is a Chief Aircraft Manager / G450 Captain for Flexjet LLC and sole proprietor of Jera Aviation Associates, an aviation consulting firm providing expert consult.A native of Dayton, OH, Mr. Allison attended Montgomery County JVS where he graduated with an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics License in 1979. He then began his aviation career with Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita, KS as a factory flight test technician on Citation model jet aircraft. In 1980, he accepted a position with the new Cessna Citation Service Center in Toledo, OH as a lead technician. During this period, Mr. Allison also attained his pilot ratings. In 1982, he accepted a promotion to Quality Control Inspector with Citation Service Center. In 1983, Mr. Allison accepted a position with Corporate Flight, Detroit, MI as a lead technician. Also in 1983, Mr. Allison was awarded his Inspector Authorization, which he has maintained continuously throughout his career. In 1984, he accepted a position with Corporate Wings, Inc.as Director of Maintenance and pilot. In this position, Mr. Allison had oversight of extensive aircraft maintenance on various models of Beech, Cessna, Lear and Gulfstream aircraft, as well as supervisory responsibilities of 30+ maintenance technicians across 5 geographic locations. Further responsibilities included FAA liason with multiple Flight Standards jurisdictions.He continued to serve in both the Director of Maintenance and a pilot position until 1996, when he accepted an assignment as a Gulfstream pilot exclusively. In 2002 Mr. Allison accepted a position as G-IV Check Airman with Flight Options, LLC. In 2007 he moved to the Embraer Legacy 600 fleet as a Senior Captain and Check Airman. He is currently a Captain in the Gulfstream G450 for Flexjet LLC.An ATP with type ratings in G-V, G-IV, G-1159, EMB145 and MU300/BE400 aircraft, his flight time exceeds 11,000 hours total time. He has worldwide flight experience.
