Provided mentorship and leadership to 22 district offices to assist with development of rural roads in an environmental save manner. Developed environmental evaluations and assessments, trained Govt of Guatemala staff and rural community members in best management practices and improved methods of roads management. Authored and produced 800 page Spanish language technical manual on environmental save way to manage and maintain rural roads. This manual has been used to train several hundred persons throughout Latin America and Caribbean on better rural roads management. The World Bank and the Interamerican Development Bank has also reprinted this manual for use in their programs.
