As Senior Director I led IT for all existing subsidiaries and oversaw building the IT Team for our newest subsidiary Warhorse Gaming. This new enterprise will start by building and operating gaming and hospitality facilities in Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska in 2022 - 2024. This will be significant addition to the Ho-Chunk Inc portfolio of companies and support our mission of enabling economic self-sufficiency for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.

Ho-Chunk, Inc. (HCI) is the award-winning economic development corporation owned by the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. HCI has over 1.500 employees and generates over $300mm in annual revenue. The business is comprised of multiple subsidiaries including Government Contracting, Casino Gaming, Housing/Construction, and Commercial Markets. I manage IT services for all subsidiaries and divisions. Since joining HCI I have led IT in becoming compliant with NIST 800 and DOD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 3 controls for cybersecurity; migration to a hybrid IT environment leveraging cloud services and a hyperconverged and highly virtualized internal IT infrastructure; and enhanced mobile computing including IP telephony, mobile video conferencing and collaboration tools. As HCI prepares for opening of new casinos in Nebraska, I am leading the planning for the IT environment required for opening and operating gaming and hospitality services at all locations.

Head of IT for International operations. I directed IT in Canada, Mexico, Italy and China. Full budget responsibility for people, hardware, applications and support. Total revenues of approximately $1.1B. Lead IT teams consisting of employees and contractors based in US, Canada, Mexico, Italy and India. Program management for all major IT projects for our business in China, Canada, Mexico and Italy. Recent projects include: PRISMA plant maintenance system; Smoothie Supply and Demand Planning system; Canada Management Reporting in Oracle, BOBJ and Tableau; Microsoft Dynamics ERP for China operations on a Microsoft Azure platform; IT Infrastructure for China Headquarters and new plant; Trade Promotion Management for Canada and Mexico; Retail Sales solution in Canada; migration of AS400 to IaaS solution; and transition support for two divested entities. Previously managed IT teams responsible for: IT support of our Spicetec Flavors and Seasonings (SFS) and J.M Swank (Logistics) business units. Initial role at ConAgra was in Enterprise IT Systems managing unified communications (Exchange and Microsoft Lync); Managed Print Services; Antivirus; Software Distribution; Shared File Services; Desktop virtualization (VM View); and Application virtualization (Citrix) support teams.

Joined Tallgrass as Vice President, Professional Services and advanced to President, Professional Services. Managing the Professional Services Division with Profit and Loss responsibility for all technical service lines of business. Defined service offerings, built methodologies and best-practices, managed internal professional technical staff, established business partnerships with external organizations, and provided consulting services to customers. This included 3 years of both managing teams and doing billable consulting work for customers.Significant accomplishments include:• Increased services revenue from $150,000 year to $2,000,000 per year and gross profit from -5% to over 30%. • Expanded service capabilities for infrastructure consulting in the areas of LAN, WAN, server, storage, backups and disaster recovery and Enterprise Content Management solutions. Key tools included Stellent/Oracle ECM, Oracle database, RAC, Data Guard, JAVA, Microsoft SharePoint, VB, VB .Net, and SQL. • Program management for multiple customer projects, including:• Implementation of new LAN/WAN environments; High availability and disaster recovery solutions; IP load balancing solutions; and Enterprise Content Management solutions. • Management of IT engineering team for US Central Federal Credit Union. This team supported over 500 servers on all aspects of IT infrastructure including Exchange e-mail, storage, network services, level 3 help desk, web services, storage, backups and disaster recovery.

Managed the Technical Resource Solutions (TRS) line of business (LOB) for the Kansas City market. Provided technical support staff augmentation services to multiple industries including transportation, insurance, telecommunications, architectural design, medical services, and manufacturing.

Lead the Marketing Support Systems units for Home Office Advertising Support, Association Marketing, Compensation, and Marketing Research systems. Managed an extensive range of Field systems including Field Office Administrative Support, Field Management Operation Planning, Field Communication Networks, Prospecting and Leads, Contact Management, Fact Finding/Needs Analysis, Sales Presentation, and Electronic Submission of Applications for Insurance.

Started in mainframe programming and operations. Advanced to Sr. SA responsible for application design and development.
