As a Senior Oracle Developer, I have worked on APEX projects and provided APEX (including Javascrpt, JQuery, CSS, AJAX, and HTML) and PL/SQL production support. My projects and support have all been associated with a custom system that provides the UI for data entry, processing, and reporting. Processes include external interfaces as well as interfaces to Oracle EBS GL and AP.At SESAC, I was a team member where we followed the Agile SDLC for projects and production support. We participated in daily Scrums and used Jira for all tracking and monitoring of progress. On multiple occasions I have conducted the daily Scrums.

As Technical Lead, coordinated integration and development activities related to the ACMP Integration Project. Received a recognition and monetary award for my performance and contribution to the successful completion of the project.Developed an EBS Health Check utility using Oracle's Application Express IDE. This utility provided a dashboard with near-real-time critical system health and performance metrics including:system memory consumption, system process counts, JVM memory consumption, JVM concurrent process counts, number of EBS user connections, number and statuses of EBS Concurrent Managers and subordinate processes, and other database metrics.

Specific responsibilities and accomplishments include:Designed and built a backend interface that extracted gas quality and volume data from a legacy SQL Server source, imported the data into Oracle, ran validations against the imported data, and provided an APEX 5.0 & FOEX 2.1.1 user interface to view and analyze results. The UI included a dashboard page with multiple charts, grids, and drill-downs.Designed and built a custom training for APEX 5 and conducted a 5 day training course for 4 members of the customer's development staff.Designed, built and migrated to production a custom Condensate Working Interest, Component Analysis, Measured Volume Adjustments, and Process Validation Reporting application. The application's UI was built with APEX 5 and an Oracle DBMS backend. The backend elements included database tables, triggers, packages, procedures, functions, etc. Designed, built, and migrated to QA for User Acceptance Testing a custom Corp Merge application. The pages were designed, built, and unit tested using APEX 5 and FOEX 2.1.1. The 87 pages were built and tested over a single Agile Sprint (4 weeks).

In preparation for EBS R11 to R12 Upgrade developed training guides and conducted training in the following areas:• Common R11 code changes required for R12.• BI Publisher with Oracle Reports• BI Publisher with XML Data Templates• Printing Oracle Reports with PASTA• Installation of, and differences in R11 Development Tools vs R12• Common techniques for converting R11 reports to R12.Developed APEX R12 Knowledge Base to assist developers in converting custom objects from R11 to R12. The Approvals application included code modules, custom Oracle Forms, custom Oracle Reports, and the custom APEX application all integrated with EBS.Responsible for designing and implementing a custom Purchasing and Payables approval system with Oracle Projects and prepared complete technical and functional documentation for the entire custom application.Provided operational support for production implementation of Oracle EBS.

Developed Java database application to automate migration of custom database object in support of Oracle EBS R11 to R12 upgrade. Designed, developed, and deployed enhancements to EBS R11 and R12 including Oracle Forms, Forms Personalizations, database objects, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher. Designed and developed Java extension to Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Application. Developed multiple Oracle Application Express applications to support implementation of an Agile Software Development Methodology, Workflow monitoring, and Issue Tracking.

Responsible for the design, build, test and deployment of enhancements and new custom functionality in support of Amazon's Oracle 11i implementation of Oracle's EBS. Specific modules included AR, AP, and GL. Key accomplishments include:Initial assigned to reengineer and repair a monthly GL sweep interface that had been built and added to by multiple developers of a period of eight years and had become unusable due increasing data volumes. After reversing engineering the application I redesign the key components making extensive us of associative arrays an other techniques to improve performance and remove non-extensible hard coded accounting segment values. The end result was reducing run time from 12+ hours to 26 minutes rendering the application usable again now processing GL sweeps of 4 million+ journal entries.Requested to resurrect an AR Document Processing design and build that had stagnated for months due to the inability to define a viable technical solution. The key requirement that caused the stagnation was the need to digitally sign and deliver AR transaction documents (Invoices, Debit Notes, Credit Memos, and Requests for Credit) from within Oracle's EBS architecture that was extensible such that new organizations could be brought on line with little or no code changes. The solution I designed, built, and deployed integrated a "master" PL/SQL Concurrent Program with and XML generator Oracle Reports Concurrent Program which then handed off to a document generation, signature, and delivery manager Java Concurrent Program that utilized the complete suite of Oracle's Java APIs for BI Publisher. The system is completely rule based with no hard coding and supports the addition of new geographies (organizations) with no code modifications.Worked on enhancing, repairing, and creating a variety of other interfaces including: AP Invoices, Suppliers, and pass-through GL sweeps.

Initially assigned to work on an implementation of the Oracle Manufacturing application on Release 12i. Responsibilities included preparing functional and technical specifications for extensions, custom reports, interfaces and data conversion requirements in PL/SQL. Completed development and testing of data conversions for Items, Locators, and Current Inventory Quantities using Oracle's standard Open Interfaces and APIs. Was asked to shift focus to support the implementation of Oracle Financials Release 12i which was behind schedule and over budget.Responsibilities included: creation of functional and technical specifications; design and development of custom reports using Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and FSG; design and development of custom stored procedures and calling Concurrent Requests (calling the PL/SQL functions and procedures) for inbound and outbound interfaces; designed and developed multiple (100+) utility functions and stored procedures in PL/SQL for use by the entire implementation team.

Duties ranged from analysis of several hundred PL/SQL stored procedures and packages for performance considerations and best practices to database (Oracle 10g) applications development. Monitored production database to continuously and proactively tune for performance, memory usage, and CPU usage. Primary tools used were TOAD, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.Designed and developed a prepay credit card inventory management system comprised of over 50 PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers and 15+ database tables all of which integrated with the existing enterprise database and applications (C++, C#, and ASP) architecture.Designed and implemented a major data conversion process requiring pre-processing via PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers for 10 million+ data records provided in multiple formats that populated multiple enterprise database tables. The conversion process included multiple stored procedures, SQL*Loader scripts, Oracle Data Pump Scripts, and UNIX csh scripts.

Responsible for establishing a Microsoft CRM Implementation and Services practice. Functioned as technical lead, Senior Developer and business analyst for multiple implementations of Microsoft CRM. The implementations all included basic system setup, customizations, design and build of workflow processes and advanced customizations with the .net framework using the Microsoft CRM Software Developers Kit.

Served as Architect, Technical Team Leader, and Project Manager for a multi-year implementation of the Siebel CRM application suite. Modules implemented included Sales, Service, Product Configurator and Incentive Compensation. Led a team of 30+ developers in the implementation which included and integrated multiple business units and market segments. Developed utilities in PL/SQL to validate customizations and support functional requirements.Worked with all levels of the Business Community to identify requirements and translate, through fit-gap analysis to the base Siebel CRM Applications suite. Briefed executives and performed prototype demonstrations at all levels from VP to CEO. Designed and developed custom Siebel Views, Screens, and Triggers to tailor the standard application to enterprise specific requirements.

Supported and led multiple implementations of the Siebel Customer Relationship Management application suite. Provided technical support to the regional sales staff in all facets of the sales process. Ultimately promoted to Regional Architect.Implemented Siebel's Call Center and Service modules integrating four call centers for Mini Phone (second largest Cellular provider in South America). This project was conducted on site in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

As a Managing Principal Consultant, I was responsible for leading and participating in the development and implementation activities associated with Oracle's entire manufacturing application suite. In support of this implementation, I developed Oracle Forms and Reports applications utilizing PL/SQL stored procedures to enhance Oracle's WIP and Order Entry standard functionality. Additionally, the position was intended to prepare consultants for promotion to Practice Manager. As such, I also had responsibility for business development and the functional management of practice members. Led a 16 month implementation of Order Entry, Inventory Management, Work in Process, and Quality Control for a major photo mask manufacturer. This project required a significant rewrite of the Work In Process and Order Entry modules.

Supported multiple state agencies including the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources. Designed and built a real time data acquisition and processing system to capture and analyze characteristics of waterways and wet lands throughout Louisiana. These backend applications consisted of stored procedures, functions, and triggers called from Oracle Forms applications as well as event triggers. Designed and built a custom Human Resources Management System and Completed the detailed design of a replacement for the management of well leases throughout the state of Louisiana. All development and design was based on the Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.

Initially assigned as Project Manager for a fast track project to perform electromagnetic fields susceptibility tests on the MD-11 aircraft. After successful completion, became Director of Systems engineering and was manager and technical lead for multiple information systems projects in support of the Department of Energy Albuquerque Operations Office. Was technical leader and developer of the FAA High Intensity Radiated Fields Operational Database and conducted a research project to explore the effects of electromagnetic fields on rotorcraft. All development was based on the Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and LabView (near-real-time data acquisition)

Served as System Architect for a major Department of Defense project to replace the antiquated and unsupportable Tactical Air Control Center. This project, with a budget of $175M, involved the integration and rewrite of over 1.5 million lines of code, fabrication of multiple deployable shelters, secure voice and data communications, and the networking of 24 Vax systems. The underlying data management technology was based on the Oracle RDBMS.

Served as an Information Systems Staff Officer for the Tactical Air Commands's intelligence community. Coordinated with other military and government intelligence agencies in the planning and acquisition of Intelligence Information Systems. Received the Meritorious Service Medal for developing the Tactical Air Command Intelligence-Information Systems Architecture. This architecture was used as a 5-year plan for improving the overall intelligence collection and dissemination capabilities for Tactical Air Command. Received an Honorable Discharge at the rank of Captain.
