As Chairman of the Board and CEO/President, I’m a fiercely loyal executive leader that’s committed to my team and my clients. I’m driven by a passion to create and develop solutions that are practical, pragmatic, and sustainable. There is nothing more that I enjoy than helping to solve problems that fit the organizational culture of my clients and Protus3.My work life started on the family farm where I learned at an early age the value and necessity of hard work, loyalty, and commitment. Those values were further embraced as I entered my military service where I grew and developed as a man and leader in the 3rd Ranger Battalion. Since my departure from the military, I have managed the corporate security operations and security systems network at Northern Telecom in the Research Triangle Park; became the first Loss Prevention Manager for Crown Crafts, a national multistate textile company; and came on board in 1995 with Protus3 (Risk Management Associates, Inc.) to consult with a broad range of amazing clients. Using my formal education in accounting and business administration throughout my career, I’ve developed a keen understanding of business, organizational strategy, business operations, and people. To that end, I am acutely aware of how the “Security Culture” of an organization must be considered as part of the greater strategic mission. This greater understanding allows me to support my clients in a more holistic manner in providing solutions and support for the advancement of their Security Program.In addition to my strengths in business, I have significant experience conducting security risk and vulnerability assessments, organizational and staff evaluations, and technical expertise in physical security systems, systems operations, strategic planning, design, product evaluations, project management and systems commissioning.Connect with me to gain a better understanding of me and Protus3.
