Assisted in the installation of a new production facility, Global Electronics Center Border Operations (GECBOP).

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and assessing training needs; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Manage a $650,000 yearly operations budget by controlling overtime, evaluating installation data to establish accurate quotes and developing service products to generate revenues.

An intermediary for the customer, manufacturing, field service and engineering that is responsible for coordinating the resolution of all equipment related issues. Methods utilized: creation of field modification kits and service bulletins, training of field technicians, using Microsoft software to create an “open issues” data base, develop an intranet based service web page, researching and reporting on engineering issues, troubleshooting and software debugging, and developing tools that enhance the service department.
