I believe that at the end of the day we all have to justify to ourselves why we are living. When I was 16, I read Andrew Carnegie's dictum. They are to spend the first third of one's life learning as much as one can, then spend the next third of one's life earning as much money as one can, and finally, to spend the last third of one's life spending all the money on worth-while causes.
