Diverse background in the oil refining industry. Over 30 years working as plant operator & shut down coordinator for Chevron USA in El Segundo Ca. Highlights include: Extensive field & console experience processing crude oil into high value products. Experienced on H2 production, cat reformer/CCR, light & heavy oil hydrotreaters, sour gas processing & high pressure steam boilers.Professional Experience: Recently completed project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia - SADARA - 04/2015 - 05/2017. A Saudi Aramco / Dow Chemical Alliance. Assigned to Mixed Feed Cracker (Hot Area) as hands on commissioning advisor. Hot area consisted of 12 furnaces designed to crack ethane and liquid naphtha, producing high value plastics and specialty chemicals. Later transferred to Utilities to expedite the commissioning of fuel gas and oil feed streams to 6 high pressure boilers, generating various levels of steam through out the Sadara complex. Also, collaborate with equipment manufacturers on start-up/shut down strategy and develope safe practice procedures.
