I was responsible for the P&L, the national relationship with our corporate real estate broker, and an organization of 200 staff and contractors optimizing our portfolio health. Areas of leadership responsibility included budgeting, facility operations, maintenance, capital planning, and special projects.We were able to strengthen the financial performance of our real estate assets, achieving savings through the consolidation of offices, and the creation of asset management processes. In addition, I championed our 2011 attainment of LEED Gold certification for the headquarters in Juno Beach, FL, attained compliance with BOMA best practices, and project managed high-value capital builds including the development of a 400-seat auditorium, parking garages, dining venues, and other large-scale capital repairs and improvements.
