In this new role I proposed and implemented the opening of the New Veterans Services Center at the Community College of Denver. I serve our Veterans students as the full time dedicated Veterans Academic Advisor. In collaboration with the Veteran Services Center Coordinator, I serve in the shared responsibilities for the daily operations of the center, growth and development of new student programming, and establishing partnerships with faculty and staff to promote educational opportunities for the Veterans students we serve.
