I focus on hiking SW NM & SE AZ, where the Chiricahua Apache were, then writing about these experiences. I'm working on a book which will include my previously published articles & expanded articles on new topics related to the Victorio Wars (circa 1878-1880), forts & camps of SW NM & SW AZ; the Vietnam War experience & hiking as a "Zen" experience. I've gained a tremendous amount of information about the Eastern & Western Chiricahua Apache. I hope to open another blog on geopolitical matters, w/emphasis on China, the Middle East, including more on Turkey as well as Southwest Asia.
