I manage our team of Implementation Project Managers to successfully launch hardware and software-based workflow solutions for broadcast television stations. Coordinating with other internal departments, I develop implementation and deployment plans for each customer project. Throughout each project, I maintain relationships with editorial, technical, and business management personnel at customer sites. I develop and conduct a detailed post sales discovery process with clients. Scheduling and organizing onsite projects, I work closely with our Hardware Production team and Procurement to streamline a seamless product staging, implementation and training of Bitcentral’s products and services.

As an Implementation Project Manager, I have helped news organizations transition their workflow to new acquisition, ingest, play out and content archiving solutions. These large-scale projects involve working with all levels of newsroom, engineering and IT personnel. I am responsible for scheduling and conducting training classes, assisting in the development of both news-gathering and production workflows and adapting to ever-changing challenges that come from large scale changes with personnel and equipment. I am also the lead Adobe Premiere trainer for the company and have trained non-linear editing at over 80 television stations.

Edit national and international feeds for evening newscasts; assist photographers and reporters with editing local content; cut tease materials for in-show promotion. Responsible for supervising staff of video editors and the editing duties of videographers, ensuring that a consistent and cohesive product reaches our viewers. Maintain the news department’s edit stations, serve as archivist for the station’s video archive (digital and tape formats) and perform training for any staff members that use an edit station.

My workload was divided between two positions. For News Videographer, my daily tasks included daily shooting and editing of assignments as well as regular operation of the station’s ENG Live Truck for live reports. Video Editor duties required daily video editing of national and international feeds for our evening newscasts; as well as assisting photographers and reporters with editing local content.

Layout and design of the daily newspaper’s Lifestyle page and writing general assignment news stories. Responsible for a local beat including schools, entertainment, bridal news and travel interests.

Completing daily shooting assignments within strict deadlines, daily editing of news segments and regular operation of the station’s ENG Live Truck. On occasion, I performed assistant producer duties that included writing scripts and assimilating information from national news sources.
