Reported to the VP Engineering and GM Industrial sands, responsible for full P&L of multi-plants. The largest operation being a hydraulic fracturing sand processing facility consisting of 125 hourly and 25 salaried employees. Total mined tons were approximately 4 million tons per year from an open pit mine. Yearly operating budget was $20 million with average yearly capital expenditures totalling $5 million. A transload/bagging/screen operation in Bakersfield. CA, which includes a manager and 5 employees. A wet/dry/bagging facility in Colorado Springs, CO, consisting of approximately 35 employees and a silica grinding facility in Riverside, CA employing 4 people.

Reported to the regional manager, direct and manage all activities at the NSO, which is a 1.3 million tpy open pit mining/milling/processing operation. The NSO is comprised of 2 plants that are fed from 1 active mine location employing approximately 150 union employees (represented by two unions), and 35 salaried employees. Both plants operated 24/7, with a yearly combined operating budget of $40 million and a $15-25 million yearly capital budget.

Reported to the plant manager, supervise 3 salaried and 30 union employees to effectively obtain UNIMIN Corporate objectives, which include productivity, safety, and maintaining a specific gross margin. Develop yearly capital expenditure plans to accomplish goals and expand product processing where new ground microcrystalline silica business was probable. The yearly operating budget was $3 million with a $750,000 yearly capital budget.

Reported directly to the plant superintendent, supervise a workforce of 30 hourly employees and one salaried employee. Responsible for the day today milling operations which included manpower scheduling and attainment of production targets. A key member of the maintenance planning team, which defines maintenance objectives on a daily basis. Assume all responsibilities of the plant superintendent during his absence.

Reported to the QC/Safety Superintendent supervise a workforce of 3 hourly and 1 salaried employee at the Blue Mtn Plant. Responsible for reporting all COA's of shipments from Blue Mtn and Nephton plants at the Nepheline Syenite Operation, and responsible for the maintenance and standardizing of equipment in both labs used in the statistical control of the mills and quarry.
