Where God Opens The Door

God has opened the door for me to preach in over 50 churches throughout the United States, in conferences, in camps and other events where the Gospel is being shared or where God’s Kingdom’s purpose is being shared. It is my God-given purpose to help people turn to Jesus and to help churches grow in their ability to serve in the Great Commission.

I started as an Interim Pastor in November of 2010 and became the full-time pastor in January of 2011. This church grew in love, unity and a desire to serve the Lord like no other church I served. We kept seeing people come to faith in Christ as 50 people followed the Lord in believer's baptism in the time I served there. People grew in depth of faith. Some became leaders at this, their home church. Others were sent into the mission field.

Due to the leading of my Lord, with First Baptist of Columbia, TN, as a sponsoring church and with the approval of the Tennessee Baptist Convention, I planted this church, starting with 8 people in my living room for Bible study and prayer. We grew, reaching and baptizing 67 in the 8 years and 3 months I served as pastor.

Mainly In Middle Tennessee

During this time, I thought God was going to open the door for me to do evangelistic work full-time. In addition to preaching revivals and other events, I was a supply preacher, filling the pulpit for sick pastors or pastors who were on vacation in the area where I lived.

Spring Hill, Tennessee

My responsibilities were to assist the Pastor, to minister to the youth and to assist the church in reaching the lost of their community.

This was a new church which was not ready to hire a pastor, but hired me to care for the youth and grow the youth group. I also shared the weekly Sunday morning message. We saw the youth group grow from a dozen to over 50 in the short time I was there.

Benbrook, Texas

I was blessed to serve as a Decision Counselor Trainer and a HopeLine worker for teens who needed Biblical advice for problems in their lives. On a number of occasions, I was also Dawson's co-host on his national radio program.

Columbia, Tennessee

I assisted the youth pastor in this youth ministry.

Hohenwald, Tennessee

I ministered to the youth of this church while they were in a time of transition.
