Graduated from George Brown College`s Dental Technology Program in 1972.Apprenticed at Singer Dental Laboratory for 3 yearsReceived Registered Dental Technologist designation in 1975.Opened own dental laboratory, JJK Dental Ceramic Studio, specializing in cosmetic dentistry and implants.In 1992, became a part-time professor at George Brown College, designing and teaching his Crown and Bridge course for 5 years (still being taught at the college today).Provided in-lab training programs for Jobs Ontario and Jewish Vocational ServicesIn 1994, joined the Board of Directors of the Association of Dental Technologists of Ontario and served on the Board for 15 years. For 13 of those years, acted as Continuing Education Chair, organizing seminars for fellow RDTs.Established the Implant Study Club, featuring speakers from all major implant companies.Hosted ``For Technicians By Technicians`` seminar, reviewing current and upcoming trends in dental technology.In September 2012, was awarded the prestigious ADTO Fellowship Award, for lifetime achievement and contribution to his profession.Outside interests include tennis and golf, vacationing in Las Vegas and Florida, and spending time with family and friends.
