New Build Construction: Managed design, permitting and construction process for $4-$6 million restaurant projects. Managed up to ten projects a year, overseeing multiple projects concurrently with parallel and staggered schedules. Responsible for managing schedules, scope, budgets, change requests, large architectural vendor resources, and contractors to guarantee a timely and cost effective project completion. Responsible for client-facing relationship with Operations Group, for a seamless transition at turnover, and for periodic status reporting to upper management and executives. A&E Management: Managed architects and engineers through redevelopment of our prototype drawings and the development of several Tenant Improvement (TI) projects. Conducted Construction Documents (CD) review meetings to review sets of drawings to determine drawing inaccuracy, inadequacy, and discrepancies prior to issuance for construction.

Construction Documents: Led production team in the development of new prototype drawings for BJs Restaurants and Brewhouse and Chuy’s Mexican Comida. Responsible for the production of drawings, and for overseeing other team members’ tasks. Mentored team members and was responsible for quality assurance over team deliverables. Verified all architectural and engineering disciplines for accuracy, completeness and coordinated dependencies with other groups such as structural engineering and kitchen equipment suppliers. Also produced deliverables for other programs such as Chuck E Cheese, Sonic, E Bar and Rosa’s Mexicana.Project/Client Management: Developed the BJs program from a one-project a year client to a ten-project a year client. Responsible for schedules, budgets, team member growth and for developing relationship with the client. Initiated a Chuy’s program that was developed to four projects a year. Led client relations, CD production and internal structuring for both programs. Scheduled internal resources’ time and budgets, created and billed invoices and reported financials to corporate.

Construction Documents: Led production team in the development of new prototype drawings for TGI Fridays. Produced architectural drawings for new prototype and managed outside engineering consultants through production. Project/Client Management: Started and maintained the TGI Fridays’ program. Responsible for marketing and selling a program to TGI Fridays to solidify a contract for work. At the peak of the program, the TGI Fridays’ team produced documents for up to 18 TGI Fridays a year. Managed documents, invoicing, client relations and consultant relations.

Construction Documents: Home Depot Remodels – Team leader for construction documents for all Home Depot remodels. Helped in production of construction documents and mentored team members during document development.TGI Fridays - Produced construction documents for all TGI Fridays new builds, remodels and inline projects. Produced 7 new build projects, from design through completion of construction. Project Management: Home Depot – Managed clients relations, produced scope of work report for each remodel project and managed several Home Depot project managers. Managed a team of three people and consultants during CD production.TGI Fridays – Managed two TGI Fridays’ Project Managers, four CD production team members and outside consultants. Produced contracts, invoices and change orders for all projects.

Northwest Texas Heart Hospital:Assistant designer for 200,000 square foot heart hospital addition. Facilitated user meetings to derive requirements for hospital design including lobby, waiting rooms, patient rooms, operatory prep rooms, radiology centers, drug stations, pharmacies, bathrooms, and other common hospital spaces. Documented design based on requirements given and received signoff from each department head and other required staff. Aiken Regional Medical Center ER/ICU Addition:Designer and space planner for 50,000 square foot ER/ICU addition. Space included ICU rooms, ER rooms, isolation rooms, patient and family waiting areas and all other required areas in the addition. Produced construction documents for entire project.Atlanta Children’s Medical Center - Produced 3-D models of numerous options for design competition. Coordinated design presentation.Spring Valley Hospital – Designed Lobbies, waiting areas and circulation terminals. Member of three person construction document team.Valley Hospital ER/ICU addition - Team lead on construction documents for 25,000 square foot emergency room addition. Produced documents and mentored team through the CD process. Coordinated contractor bid process.American Airlines Center - Member of design competition team and acted as Assistant Sports Designer. Built 3-D concept models in AutoCAD. Member of construction document team for over three years and followed project through opening dayComiskey Park Renovation - Member of design competition team.
