I started my technical aptitude at 10 years old taking apart, reassembling and repairing various electronic equipment, which sometimes did not go well with my father, especially when I took apart his brand new $3000 laser disc player to see if I could extract the laser to make a light saber. But he felt pride when I put it back together without a scratch and working properly. I then joined the Navy in 1987 and became a electromechanical repairman and an aviation structural mechanic while in the NAVCAD program to become a Naval Aviator. But after a severe motorcycle accident in 1991 I was told I would not be able to fly and was honorably discharged in 1992.I wanted to continue repairing technical equipment so I enrolled at ITT Technical Institute in 1993 and earned an degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. I was recruited by Motorola in Irvine California in 1994, there was word that they were going to be closing that plant so I was hired by an Authorized Repair company for Nikon doing field engineering on their micro optical equipment in the southern California territory. I had met my wife then and due to the financial difficulties California was having we decided to move to Austin Texas in 2000. Once here I was hired by Xerox as a field engineer and thats when I discovered how vital office equipment was needed in the world. So I decided to work for different companies in the industry and learn the various types of office equipment. Then in 2010 I started Centex Office Machines on my own with no real savings and no financial assistance but with my reputation in Austin as a very knowledgeable and experienced technician amongst the various companies I was off and running.Serving the Central Texas territory and my experience with all the different manufacturers such as Xerox, HP, Sharp, Canon to name a few, and with different types such as printers, copiers, scanners, plotters, shredders and more. I have become a one stop shop for all repairs on basically all office equipment a typical business uses.
