Reporting to the Platform Director, Printing Products Group. Responsible for managing the design and engineering of printing products drying systems, including both integrated dryer/incinerator and non-integrated models. Manage production engineering group of 17 engineers, designers and CAD operators to support increasing annual sales volume.Provide applications and technical support to the French sister office for all new, unique and difficult drying systems to support their increasing annual sales volume.Completed Black Belt certification in Design for Six Sigma on Web Cooling System project which led to patent award and product line expansion.Provided technical support in design of the new integrated dryer/thermal incinerator utilizing regenerative technology which demonstrated technical leadership in the Printing Industry.

Responsible for managing the engineering, manufacturing and R&D of industrial drying systems and incineration equipment for the printing, paper and converting industries.Managed engineering and R&D efforts to support sales growth from $6 million to $25 Million.Initiated CAD in mechanical and electrical design which implemented consistent improvements in product designs.Developed the ISO 9001 documentation for the engineering department which enabled Thermo Electron Wisconsin to achieve ISO 9001 status.Provided CE Mark technical compliance requirements and assessments that enabled sales into the European marketplace.

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering and Development. Responsible for managing the design of air drying, chill rolls, air turns, thermal and catalytic incineration equipment for the printing industry. Manage four Mechanical Designers and five Mechanical Engineers.Initiated product improvements which improved customer satisfaction and helped improve market share in the printing industry.Managed integration of licensed thermal and regenerative incineration technology into production engineering to expand the product offering and increase sales potential.

Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering. Responsible for the mechanical engineering group of 13 engineers, designers and draftsmen. Products included hot air drying equipment, air flotation turns and chill roll stands. Continually improved product line and helped establish and maintain standards for both domestic and international markets resulting in expanded sales internationally.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer. Responsible for designing chill roll stands and hot air flotation dryers for the printing industry and air flotation dryers for the converting industry.
