Developed functional specifications and product development plans for Mobility XE, a best-in-class mobile VPN (Virtual Private Network) product, and managed the software development process. Established new product development processes targeting efficiency increases, risk reduction, and greater customer satisfaction. Identified areas for improved handling of customer-driven development issues, obtained executive agreement and led team tasked with development of new procedures in this area. Reenergized team developing Windows Mobile and Windows CE clients by increasing company focus on this fast-growing market and establishing a strong partnership with a major cellular carrier. Led team investigating acquisition targets for new complementary product lines.
