I have worked in media since I was 16. First in New Jersey as a writer for the Paterson News and the Bergen Record (now the Record). In Miami I was a DJ for WAEZ and converted country music station WBUS-FM and Love94 to progressive music formats under then owner Allen Margolis.In late 60's founded alternate culture magazine, the Daily Planet, Miami Beach, FL. After Nixon resigned I moved to NY. I began working with artist Andy Warhol, and helped with the launch of his portrait series then with NY pop artist Peter Max and for a short time worked in Spain for Salvador Dali.In 1992 I returned to South Beach, Miami Beach and launched and created the luxe magazine Ocean Drive. Within a few years we created more than 20 other titles including Ocean Drive in Spanish with partners Gloria and Emilio Estefan. Michael Carr and I founded Vegas Magazine. I then launched print books for Steve Wynn (WYNN); Sheldon Adelson (VENETIAN STYLE); Donald Trump, (TRUMP); Sam Keller, (ART BASEL), and the official RNC and the 2007 SUPERBOWL magazines,Forward to 2007, sold company and I returned to painting. October, 2014 a original acrylic work of mine titled "Art Miami," was selected "Official Painting of Art Miami's 25th Anniversary" during Art Basel Week and so a new career began!Exhibits of my art included; Art Miami/Context; Art Wynwood; Art Miami, New York; Kavachnina Contemporary; The Jewish Museum, Miami Beach; Swampspace Gallery, Miami, Florida, and a stellar exhibition on Worth Avenue's, Arcature Fine Arts. And yes, I've actually sold some works on paper; two commissioned character portraits; and several multi media acrylic paintings from my "mugSHOT" series. I was commissioned to create a portrait of tennis Superstar Venus Williams and in December 2018 I will exhibit my recent mugShot series that will include Pittbul, Larry King Jim Morrison, Lenny Bruce among others.
