As Operations Performance Leader, I create and implement procedures for continuous improvement throughout all our factories in the southeast. I also train managers and supervisors on how to utilize Vorne data analysis tools to make better decisions on the shop floor.Other responsibilities include:Reviewing daily production reports to identify opportunities in labor cost reductions, reviewing P&L report for overtime reduction strategies such as labor overlapping, scheduling changes, headcount analysis, and implementing raw material waste reduction strategies due to machine startup, mold, or system changes. Implementation of procurement initiatives to lower raw material cost and increase managed spend.

My responsibilities included:► Oversaw daily operations of two MASA Hardscapes and one Splitter plant in the highest production volume site in Coastal► Employee Management Training, Performance Evaluations, disciplining and progress acknowledgment as needed, Daily crew assignments, crew time keeping and department time management and reporting► Reviewed daily production quality, develop and maintain scrap reduction plans► Planned daily production for MASA and Splitter line.► Raw material management (Aggregates, Cements, Colors, Admixes, Packaging

In this role, I provided leadership and training to achieve Boral’s goals for safety, quality and cost for all employees. Responsible for overseeing production, maintenance, quality, and shipping for a facility of over 30 employees, and was also in charge control and monitoring of the plant’s standard cost, cost per square, variable/fixed cost, wages and salaries.A few of my accomplishments include:► Established and monitored overall plant performance for production and quality standards by using lean manufacturing principles. ► Implemented and maintained a “Pull” system for the finished goods inventory. This was achieved by implementing a system that replenished inventory using “Kanban” and “First in-First out” methodology. Maintained low levels of inventory and was able to turn the entire inventory in 30 days. ► Oversaw all environmental regulations for state and county. No notices of violation during my entire tenure.

My responsilibilites and accomplishments in this role included:► Implemented and coordinated lean manufacturing activities such as value stream mapping, 5s, TPM, Kanban, visual management, and SMED.► Monitored safety programs and conducting time and ergonomic studies for work stations. ► Composed and implemented standard work procedures for process standardization for the production, quality, and shipping departments.► Conducted bill of material maintenance in SAP, and also all warehouse module transactions for product inventories and shipments.► Oversaw spill prevention, visual emissions, toxic release inventory, water regulations, and polices for county and state.► Developed job safety analysis for operator and maintenance positions. Trained employees on job safety analysis during initial orientation and also a yearly refresher. ► Responsible for all shipping activities in a high volume/high speed facility. The plant has over 300 products that are shipped all over the United States.

This is my military experience. The knowledge and experience gained from the military laid the strong foundation for my strong leadership abilities in the manufacturing industry. My responsibilities included:► Provided technical and tactical guidance for all soldiers assigned to the Platoon of 50 soldiers during training and combat operations. ► Assisted in planning, organizing, directing, supervising, training, coordinating, of all platoon training activities.► Trained new recruits on how to be disciplined, understand the Army values, and become combat ready infantry soldiers. ► Provided instructions in all common skills and ensured strict adherence of safety procedures during training and live fire exercises.
