Responsible for managing the daily operations of Northern California’s largest skydiving facility, including staff and instructors. Ensured compliance with rules and regulations of the FAA and U.S. Parachute Association. Responsible for student programs, increased sales, advertising, marketing & social media, website creation & maintenance, and modernization of the facility and programs.

Responsible for protection of the US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan while contracted with the US Department of State. Responsible for protection of a US military installation in Kuwait while contracted with the US Department of Defense.

Responsible for representing the views, opinions, and legislative needs of this Los Angeles-based child care association before the California State Legislature. I was responsible for advising the association’s Board of Directors of all statutory and budgetary changes impacting the field of child care in California. I worked to position the Alliance within the California Legislature to affect positive changes for both the association and the field of child care in general.

As Committee Consultant, I was responsible for analyzing bills heard and for making voting recommendations for Minority-party Senators. I was also responsible for preparing the Committee Vice-Chair and Senate Minority members on all matters appearing before the Committee.The Senate Business and Professions Committee has jurisdiction over the California Department of Consumer Affairs and most licensed professions within the state. The committee hears bills on a variety of issues ranging from the licensing of physicians to unsolicited email advertising.When working for the Senate Minority Whip, I was part of a team that analyzed - and made voting recommendations for - every bill heard and debated on the State Senate Floor. I was also responsible for informing Minority leadership of events occurring on the Senate Floor - both procedural and otherwise. These duties required strong working relationships with staff from both political parties and within a wide variety of policy issues.
