I left college after studying Business Studies to join my family business where I learned all aspects of business management; including all 'after sales' roles, sales and general management for the first 17 years of my working life.I then worked for a Mercedes, Maserati & Jeep dealership before moving on to specialise with BMW in a business finance and sales role for six years. Professionalism and client satisfaction were the overriding focus of these marques.After study and retraining I qualified as a Mortgage and General Insurance Advisor and after gaining three years experience started my own company and formed a mortgage company - directly authorised by the FSA.In 2009 I closed my mortgage company following the widespread lending market problems that followed the global economic crisis. I joined a boutique investment company based in the UK as a Business Development Manager. Over a four-year period, with the support of a team including marketing, design and sales I was intrinsic in creating various routes to market for the investment product that resulted in a total generation of circa £200 million, of which £75 million was invested into the company’s offering. The investment came to an end in 2015 so I decided to become involved in the personal and business insurance protection market again.
