I am retired physician, residency-trained in emergency medicine, and board certified certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine from 1993 - 2023, with service as an emergency physician in trauma, stroke, and STEMI centers. I have additional training in cosmetic dermatology and have served as the clinical medical director of my own cosmetic practice, as well as training by NOAA in diving and hyperbaric medicine, with service as as a hyperbaric medicine consultant at a major medical center. I have also served as the director of EMS at Loma Linda University Medical Center, medical director of LifeCare Medical Transportation, an ALS ambulance service and I have served in disaster response as a member of the San Bernardino, California FEMA DMAT team in disaster deployments as well as a courtroom expert witness in emergency medicine for two decades. I have also served on the Admissions Committee at Stanford University School of Medicine as well as the Resident Selection Committee at Loma Linda University ER Residency both as Chief Resident and as a faculty physician.
